Parents who wish to join a babysitting circle, or just want to offset their babysitting expenses by babysitting themselves, choose the " I am a babysitter and a parent " option during registration.

This will place the parent in the babysitting list, and also indicate you are also a parent. Some parents prefer other parents as babysitters.

Parent Babysitting Circles.

The Babysit club has a great advantage for baby sitting circles, to replace the dreaded book or ledger with the Babysitters Contact Calendar.

Most circles pass the book around on a monthly basis from parent to parent, sharing the task of phoning around to find a parent/babysitter to sit for a date that has been requested by another circle member.

This is made difficult when two or three calls can be made to contact each circle member at a convenient time, many circles have 20 members and with 3 or 4 baby sitting requests, this can add up to a very time consuming task.

Each member just ticks the hours on a day they are available and every member of the group can see precisely when the other members can babysit. Babysitting circle Points payment system.

When circle members pay each other by earning points, and logging the members score in a ledger, as soon as one member leaves the circle with minus points the system is compromised and everybody looses. This is the demise of many babysitting circles.

The Babysitclub offers an hourly £ rate guide in the members profile, this can be set to the circle standard and each member agrees to babysit for an agreed amount. You keep your babysitting fund topped up by babysitting for other circle members. If you deplete your fund when you leave, nobody will suffer as a result.

Rating

Every circle member can rate each other on an average score system of 1 to 10 reflecting baby sitting suitability as a babysitter and host.

Cost

Each membership is free, and the search facility subscription is just £15 for 6 months use, just under 58p per week. You can renew your subscription at any time, even after the last had elapsed. There are three subscription terms; £10 for 3 months, £15 for 6 months, and £25 for a year.
